A Double Challenge
Good Sunday mornin' to everyone! As Emily and I are toiling away making sample card packs for her family reunion tote bags, I decided to take a break and do a creative challenge. CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week is called Getting Edgy! Their sponsor is Market Street Stamps, and their stamps are oh so cute! I would love to win a set! Also, I've been checking out Moxie Fab World over the past few days because I've seen it linked to a lot of other people's blogs. So, I happened to find a challenge there that also fit the bill--the Beautiful Borders Challenge! So, here we go!
I used a Martha Stewart border punch to create strips of gradually darkening teal paper. I chose six colors since my card is 6" tall--the border strips are 1/2" wide, so I used two of each. Then, I topped it all off with a Fiskars sentiment stamp. I also gently inked the edge of each border cut. Love how it turned out, hope you do too!!
I'll show you all the card packs we are putting in everyone's tote bags when they're done. We hope this will get the word out about love4cards and generate some business! We've already sold enough to finance this little hobby of ours, so that's a start. Have a great day!
